Echinacea: Wow! What a wonderful herb that is. Echinacea helps boost the immune system. Echinacea will reduce cold symptoms and shorten the duration. After the cold is over with then maintain with dose on the bottle to help prevent it from coming back. Echinacea comes in a capsule and liquid. Some companies to look for are Nature’s Way, Soloray and Natures Herb.

Astragalus: This herb helps with increasing the production of the immune cells. Astragalus has a mild antiviral activity and preventing a cold. You can get this combined with Echinacea.
